We are happy to announce that May’s Urban History Seminars (UHS) will be in-person at the Chicago History Museum. UHS features a scholarly presentation followed by lively discussion.

Lisa Yun Lee, executive director of the National Public Housing Museum, will speak about the history, vision, and future of the NPHM, the only cultural institution devoted to telling the story of public housing in the United States. The NPHM has recently started renovations to the museum, the only remaining building of the Jane Addams Homes, transforming it into a space for its mission: to preserve, promote, and propel the right of all people to a place where they can live and prosper—a place to call home.
